Student Registration & Family Access

Welcome to the Kankakee Valley School Corporation Student Registration and Family Access page. Here you'll find the information and resources needed to complete student enrollment and annual online registration, access Family Access (Skyward), and locate important forms and tutorials. Family Access allows parents and guardians to stay informed by viewing student information, attendance, grades, schedules, food service accounts, report cards, and district communications throughout the school year.

Before each school year, families must:

  • Complete online registration through Family Access (Skyward).
  • Use a computer, laptop, or Chromebook (a mobile phone is not recommended).
  • If you don't have a device, contact your child's school for assistance.

How to Log In

  1. Visit the Kankakee Valley School Corporation website.
  2. Click Parents Hub.
  3. Select Skyward Login to access Family Access.

What You Can Do in Family Access

  • View student information
  • Check attendance
  • See grades and missing assignments
  • View class schedules
  • Email teachers
  • Manage food service accounts and view purchases
  • View and print report cards
  • Read district and teacher messages
